A few years ago, I would probably laugh at any Seattleite with a snow boot collection. Then, the great snowmageddon of 2019 happened. I was snowed in for nearly two weeks! That meant long walks to the grocery store and running through the snow to keep up with my doggo who was beyond excited. Let’s just say my shoes of choice were laughable, and this year I’m stepping up my game with Lugz booties! Thanks to Lugz, I’m trying out the Empire Hi Fur Bootie in this fun pink color this season.
The Empire Hi Fur Lugz Booties are water resistant and have a slip-resistant sole. That makes them perfect for walking through snow or ice! I’m wearing my normal size 7! They’re a bit difficult to pull on (you need to unlace them and loosen them first), but once they’re on, they fit true to size. One thing I was surprised about is how comfortable they were once I got them on. These Lugz booties have a memory foam insole, so they’re really comfortable to walk in. If pink isn’t your thing, they come in many other colors, too. They also have a pretty wide toe, probably to allow room for extra socks and layers.
I’m excited to try these booties out this season! We haven’t seen snow yet here in Seattle, but I tried them out in the rain and came home with dry, warm feet. I think these will be perfect for walking in cold climates, wearing before and after skiing, and just having on hand for when the cold weather hits.
